INFORMATION
FOR PARENTS
At Oakmont School we aim to maintain a welcoming, kind and tolerant school environment where all children can learn in a place of safety and respect. Safeguarding informs all of the school's processes and procedures and it is our highest priority that children are kept safe.
If any member of the school community (including staff, pupils and parents/carers) has any concerns about any form of bullying or abuse, either experienced or witnessed, then they can approach any member of the staff team knowing that their concern will be listened to, taken seriously and treated with respect.
Oakmont School has a dedicated Designated Senior Person (DSP) and a Deputy Designated Senior Person (Deputy DSP) in place. We also have a detailed Safeguarding policy that outlines our ethos regarding safeguarding and keeping people safe, and the processes we follow when a safeguarding concern is raised.
This policy can be found on the policies tab on this page.
